Best Years has been specialising in making toys for over 10 years and were the first people to introduce knitted dinosaurs to the world!  The founders, having young children themselves, found the appeal of knitted and crochet toys was instant as it offered a great alternative to the ubiquitous soft toys found all over the high street.

It is an ethical company and ethical sourcing is at the core of all its products, and having found a great factory to make its first knitted toys it now has hundreds in its range and is still working with the same people it met all those years ago.

This interest in ethical sourcing also led to its 2009 partnership with the Pebble fair trade cooperatives which hand makes knitted and crochet toys in rural Bangladesh creating thousands of fairly paid and flexible jobs in the process. And since knitting and crocheting goes hand in hand with cotton, it was a natural process for them to find the organic cotton Under the Nile ranges which are now on offer.
