fairtotrade is a wholesale organisation offering hand made, high quality products that are available in both traditional and western designs, and additionally offers bespoke designs on many of its products having developed fairly traded products for several cultural and heritage gift shops.

fairtotrade works closely with its producers, who are either members of the World Fair Trade Organisation (WFTO) or have close connections with groups that are members. It strives to bring to the UK market high quality, competitively priced and commercially viable fairly traded products from recognised producers around the world.

fairtotrade has been recognised by the British Association for Fair Trade Shops (BAFTS) as a fair trade importer reflecting that its products are manufactured under conditions that meet recognised employment standards consistent with improving the livelihoods of poor and marginalised people from developing countries. These include fair wages, providing clean and safe working environments, allowing workers the freedom to join trade union groups, providing skills training and promotion prospects.
